“Wasn't that what you were going to do to me? If I had taken the stone you would have waited for that creature to devour me and then you'd just take the ruby back like you did off of that dead man's body a year ago. Well now you're stuck with it!”

The two began to tussle “I hate you I hate you!” Mary screamed over and over again.

“The gem it's moving. Oh No it's happening again like it did that night.” The large red ruby began to tremble in Mary's hand. John had a strong grip on both of Mary's wrist to stop her from beating on his chest. Suddenly the horrible scorpion like creature crawled out of the ruby landed on the ground and then grew huge in size.

“Let go of my wrist John!” “ I can't my hand's our stuck I can't move!”

“You both miscalculated. The penthouse you have here in Spain is across the world from where you were last year. We are in a different time zone, Mars has reached the spot were the star rays can reach me. I have waited all year for this I love to feast on the heads of humans and this year I have two for one. Since at the moment I was released you were both touching the gem. You both belong to me.”
